I have been playing bass and guitar for over 20 years, designing for 10, and a husband and father for 7. Like most who hold down a steady job and a familial fort, I unevenly split my time among work, home and play. Between 3 kids, 4 dogs and more than 40 hours of work each week, my free-time is minimal, but I am committed to my hobbies and try to squeeze in something each day.
Personally, I am far from a musical virtuoso, preferring to finger pick than plectrum pluck and hillbilly hiccups to pop-star pipes. I have been writing and singing my own songs since 1992 and occasionally I will bastardize a Johnny Cash tune or two.
One of my favorite things to do is buy, sell and swap guitars and that is primarily what this blog is about. I am going to share my stories of how and why I decided to get what I got and why I let it go.
Here is a little something I put together that embodies most of the things that are dear to me: my wife, kids, dogs, guitar, hillbilly hiccups and Johnny Cash – enjoy!
